OUR STORY
U Cypher is the eSports IP developed at U Sports. U Cypher was primarily built as an idea of identifying and promoting eSports athletes, building new team, showcasing new eSports games/disciplines and at same time building the space of content and tournaments in India. The deeper endeavour was to create a platform for Indian eSports athletes to be recognized and build the eSports universe in India as the idea was initiated I the year 2016. U Cypher would lead the movement to make Indian eSports a global and cultural phenomenon.
The word ‘CYPHER’ in gaming terms refers to the action of decoding the opponent player’s code/playing style in a game, thereby giving him or her an edge to win the game. ‘U’ is part of the U Sports stable of projects. Therefore, the name ‘U CYPHER’. The masked face in the logo represents the eSports Athlete or Gamer. Every player who plays eSports adopts an avatar or a mask and then plays the game in this avatar. This avatar gives the players a feeling of being larger than life in the digital world and also gives him the confidence to be competitive in the eSports domain. The geometric lines and shapes in the mask stand for new age, computative and structural plays that make a player win the e-game. All the games and players have a deep hidden code and once cracked, helps the player become the winner.
The 4 independent lines on the left side of the letter ‘U’ are lines meant to imply cutting edge. Each of the four lines signify (a) dream; (b) faster; (c) higher and (d) stronger. The first line represents the dream of playing/being/performing a sport while the last 3 lines are part of the Olympic motto which is Citius, Altius and Fortius.
Season 1
U Cypher is a first of its kind, multi-platform, multi-game eSports championship which will have 6 teams, with 14 members in each team, battling it out for Season 1's total prize money of Rs. 51 lakhs. The battleground revolves around 4 games, namely Counter Strike GO and DOTA 2 on PC, Tekken 7 on PS4 and Real Cricket 2017 on mobile.
The team mix in Season 1 will be a draft of players from across the 4 games. U Cypher had the biggest names from the Indian eSports scene competing. All the players in the Draft had been meticulously picked from the Top E Sports Tournaments and teams from pan or across India. But, what’s unique about the draft process is that these team members may not necessarily play together at the time or moment but will now get drafted into different teams on the basis of an equitable point based drafting process.
The Gameplay
Each of the games will be shown as is on the digital platforms, i.e. U Cypher channels on youtube, youtube gaming, twitch, voot and usports.
The Episodes
On MTV it would be a daily 60 minute show with repeats the next day. Season 1 will comprise of 37 episodes. Each episode will have two teams face off on all the four games to gain league points. The final four will play knockouts to determine the winners.
The TV show is planned to be coupled with the high action and drama of the individual games itself, the show will aim to connect with audiences across genres, focus on the human element of the players, to provide a peek into the world of the game and broadly on eSports, promising to be a thrilling race to the finish line.
Season 2
It will include the games (in Mobile/ PC / Console games) that have a long term plan for India. We can be their game distribution/ publishers for India (possibly SEA) and the game developer would support in the marketing/ broadcast and content development plan of the game.

OUR STORY TEAM
U Dream Football is a football training programme offering young talented footballers a unique opportunity to pursue a career as a professional footballer. The program has a 2 pronged approach of exposure to the player in India and abroad. Mainly directed abroad to Europe/ Germany. Brought to you by U Sports, U Dream Football aims to identify talent at an early stage and offer international training, academic and infrastructure support to help them advance as professional footballers. The program is based in both Nasik (at the Fravashi International Academy, 150 kms from Mumbai) in India and in Bitburg, Germany and therefore embedded with the European and German Philosophy of Football Education.
The directions on the program are greatly influenced and derived from the Bundesliga and its recommended clubs and Youth Development Programs. With BVB Dortmund, one of Germany's most successful clubs, as a technical partner, the training programme is greatly enhanced. U Dream Football aims to build a deep seeded foundation for the radical development and transformation of Indian football. It is among the few football training programmes that also lays equal emphasis on the academic development of the young athletes, as it offers IGCSE / Cambridge schooling and the opportunity to pursue higher university studies or skill based programmes. Therefore in Nasik we are based in a 50 Acre Campus facility and school that helps us keep the same direction towards Youth Development in Football with a strong focus on academics. And in a similar 50 Acre Campus in Bitburg Germany.
In 2015, 15 of India’s finest U15 footballers, selected from a massive talent hunt in over 46 cities were sent to Germany to train at an academy with complete access to the club’s rich facilities and world class infrastructure. The talent hunt saw participation from over 800 schools and 10,000+ students.
In October 2015, U Dream Football launched its second season where it did conduct football clinics for over 100 top schools in India to scout for the country’s best U15 talent. Led by coaches from Germany, these clinics did also help expose school teams to international standard of scouting and coaching, along with also being an opportunity to be selected for the prestigious international programme. The journey of U Dream Football that began in Germany, is now extending to derive diversified values from other developmental programs and clubs of Luxembourg, Belgium, France, Holland and UK. Players from our programme have the potential to play in the most evolved football leagues in Europe.
In 2016, 35 more players joined the programme in Europe. From here on, the programme will be called TATA Trusts U Dream Football. All the 35 boys selected are from the North East Region of India. Currently 95% of the students are sponsored by us. Also, by 2019, the programme did (and will) help start up to 3 TATA Trusts U Dream Football Centres of Excellence in India: Aizawl (Mizoram), Imphal (Manipur), Chandigarh (Haryana). The plan is to have 3 centers by 2020. The plan is to work towards building a holistic ecosystem for football, thereby developing top level football coaches for India.
The partnership with BVB Dortmund will give the footballers enrolled under Tata Trusts U Dream Football to train under the Bundesliga side's youth coaches and even play competitive games against their youth teams. Known widely for their youth development system, with stars like Mario Goetze, Marco Reus and Christian Pulisic as academy graduates, the partnership will play a key role in development of our young trainees into professional footballers.
As of March 2018, we have 27 boys training under the programme and plan to extend the development of the idea and add more deserving age 15 and above players a chance to join the programme. Extensive trails will be conducted to select the deserving players into the program. The unique USP of the program being the sharp focus on Football and Education alike, along with directed focus on nutrition, personality development and football exposure.
OUR STORY
U Moto, an initiative of U SPORTS, a sport business company founded by Ronnie Screwvala and Supratik Sen, aims to create a world-class motorcycle (Electric Motorcycles – E Bikes) racing event emerging from India, available to a mass audience via TV broadcast - whilst scouting, training and nurturing young talent and redefining the existing motorsport ecosystem.
Given India’s mass-scale affiliation with two wheelers across the board, clubbed with an emerging global economy, we believe this weaves well for a need of a motorsport to cater to this audience.
The event would be for tourist town – road racetrack based motorcycle racing with two distinct classes;
a. Intermediate Class – 110kW & 250km/h (approx.)
b. Premier Class - To be launched later
We are in discussion with various motorcycle manufacturers, motorsport governing bodies and various administrations across Asia, with races slated to take place not only in India, but across the continent. Both classes of racing would be a ‘one-make series’ with manufacturers in each of the respective categories. Both categories will feature Indian and International riders. U Moto will adhere to the highest safety and regulatory standards of the sport and thus we’re in talks to bring on board both Indian and international experts to help build the product, to conform to FMSCI and FIM regulations.
With the country being arguably the largest market for two-wheelers, India is well and truly ready to be at the centre of a world-class E Bike motorcycle racing competition.
Going ahead, U Sports also plans to launch U Moto 250, a street racing competition, with a view to drive multipronged growth of E. Bikes, for the sport as well as tourism. Thus, races will be hosted in key tourism destinations across India and U Sports is working closely with CII to bridge the gap between the state, motorsport and tourism. The format would be open street circuits with 3-5km loops, with multiple laps; comparable to Moto 3 category with 250cc bikes.
Currently, U Moto is also in talks with various State Governments to be a part of the initiative. They have shown positive response towards building the sport within their states. Where the 1st Step is to identify the Tourist Destination and then a Road Space/ Demarcated Road where a seasonal track can be initiated. Here’s a peek into what a professional track model looks like. Our endeavour is to get the State Governments in creating a platform to make every Indian Motorsports enthusiast’s dream come true! A win win for the launch and mass adoption of E Bikes, motorsport development, tourism and large scale media broadcast along with an eye on creating business opportunity ("Make in India") in India.
